McFadden, Joseph Earn All-Commonwealth Coast Conference Honors
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Rookie Isis McFadden (Telford, Pa.) and graduate student Joanna Joseph (Brockton, Mass.) of the Eastern Nazarene College women's track and field team picked up All-Commonwealth Coast Conference accolades, announced the league office Wednesday.
McFadden received a pair of All-Commonwealth Coast Conference first team honors after finishing first in the 100 meters and 200 meters at the CCC Championships April 28. The rookie also earned an All-CCC second team nod with a second-place finish in the long jump at the meet. McFadden posted a personal-best time in the 200-meter dash with a mark of 27.15 seconds.
Joseph earned a spot on the All-CCC first team after capturing gold in the shot put at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship. Joseph notched a personal-record throw in the shot put with a toss of 10.56 meters to claim first-place in the event for the second-straight year. She also shattered her personal-best in the discus at the meet with a mark of 27.31 meters.
The Lions finished fifth in the team standings at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships.
