Women’s Track & Field Participates in MIT Sean Collier Invitational
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's track & field competed at the Sean Collier Invitational hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Saturday afternoon.
Isis McFadden (Telford, Pa.) finished 11th in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.26 seconds while claiming 11th in the long jump with a mark of 4.54 meters. She also earned 15th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.34 second.
Michelle Detwiler (Elkhart, Ind.) placed 12th in the long jump with a leap of 4.44 meters.
Joanna Joseph (Brockton, Mass.) grabbed eighth in the shot put with a toss of 9.99 meters while Sarah Iheduru (Providence, R.I.) captured 11th in the shot put with a throw of 8.53 meters. Joseph and Iheduru also placed in the top-20 in the discus throw.
Angela Moore (Sanford, Fla.), Kristen Moore (Corinth, Texas), and Julia Seeley (Amsterdam, N.Y.) also represented the Lions at the meet.
Looking ahead, Eastern Nazarene heads to the Ocean State to compete in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships hosted by Roger Williams April 28.
