No. 2 Seed Women’s Tennis Faces Johnson & Wales Saturday in GNAC Semifinals
QUINCY, Mass.- In its first season as a member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), the Eastern Nazarene College women's tennis team earned a first-round bye to the GNAC Tournament semifinals. The No. 2 seed Lions will square off against third-seeded Johnson & Wales (R.I.) Saturday in the semifinals.

HOW THEY GOT HERE:
Eastern Nazarene finished the regular season with a 10-1 overall record to go with a 6-1 league mark to capture the No. 2 seed in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Tournament. Johnson & Wales earned the No. 3 seed and advanced to the semifinals with a 5-0 victory over Simmons in the opening round.
POSTSEASON HISTORY:
Eastern Nazarene is making its first-ever trip to the GNAC Tournament semifinals. The Lions had reached the Commonwealth Coast Conference playoffs three times, including a run to the CCC semifinals a year ago.

Eastern Nazarene and Johnson & Wales met on the courts less than two weeks ago with the Lions narrowly prevailing 5-4 at home.
