SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Senior Sharon Lemire (Lyndeboro, N.H.) received All-Commonwealth Coast Conference honorable mention, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
Lemire played primarily at the No. 1 singles position as well as the top doubles slot for the Lions. She wrapped up her senior campaign with a 3-16 overall record, including a 2-7 in doubles action.
"Sharon played a key role on the team for all four years that she played. She served as the team captain and was a great leader for our squad," said head coach Cris Popa.
The Lions finished the 2012 season with a 2-10 overall record.
Lemire becomes the first Eastern Nazarene player to earn All-CCC honorable mention since Allison Cammarata garnered the same accolade in 2006 as a rookie.
