Women’s Soccer Stifled at Hartford in First-Ever Matchup

HARTFORD, Conn.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team absorbed a 9-0 loss at Hartford Wednesday afternoon in the first all-time meeting between the two clubs.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Hartford chalked up five goals in the first half as five different players found the back of the net.
  • The Hawks tacked on four goals in the second frame to notched their third-consecutive victory.

  • Goalkeeper Sabrina Nassar (Suwanee, Ga.) finished with 13 saves in the match.
  • The Lions managed two shots on the afternoon while the Hawks racked up 44 shot attempts.
