Women’s Soccer Battles SUNY Delhi to 1-1 Draw

NORTH QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team earned a 1-1 tie against SUNY Delhi Sunday afternoon at Creedon Field.

Records: Lions (1-3-2, 1-1-1 NAC) | Broncos (5-1-1, 2-0-1 NAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • The Broncos snagged a 1-0 lead in the 10th minute as Shaniyah Myers buried her team-leading sixth tally of the season while Kailey Leach picked up an assist.
  • Eastern Nazarene answered with a strike in the 23rd minute to knot the contest at 1-1. Bia de Oliveira Segato (Malden, Mass.) unleashed a long-range shot to collect her first tally of the year. Kenna Cruise (Fairhaven, Mass.) and Kayla Dorn (Hampton, Ill.) both recorded assists on the game-tying goal.


INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

  • Netminder Mackenzie Quick (Barrington, N.H.) registered three saves in her first start of the fall.
  • The Lions finished the match with six shot attempts while SUNY Delhi fired 11 shots on the day.
