Women’s Soccer Plays to 1-1 Tie Against MCLA

QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team posted a 1-1 draw against the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) Tuesday evening at Veterans Memorial Stadium.


THE BASICS:

Records: Lions (1-2-1) | Trailblazers (1-2-2)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • The Trailblazers seized a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute as Anna Lewis netted her team-leading fourth goal of the season with a long-range attempt.
  • Eastern Nazarene scored the game-tying goal in the 74th minute to tie the match at 1-1. Kayla Dorn (Hampton, Ill.) converted a penalty kick to notch her squad-leading third tally of the fall.


INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

  • Rookie goalkeeper Sabrina Nassar (Suwanee, Ga.) finished with five saves in her fourth start of the campaign.
  • Eastern Nazarene produced 18 shots on the night while earning four corner kicks. MCLA managed nine shots in the contest.
