Women’s Soccer Falls to League-Leading Lesley, 5-1
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team absorbed a 5-1 setback to conference-frontrunner Lesley Saturday afternoon at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lesley snagged an early 1-0 edge with a strike in the fourth minute. Keira Bergman knocked in a cross from Abby Kalou to net her first goal of the year.
- Eastern Nazarene evened the match at 1-1 in the 24th minute. Jordan Lee (Hampden, Mass.) found the back of the net to collect her second marker of the season while Michala O'Donoghue (San Bruno, Calif.) picked up her first assist.
- The visitors reclaimed a one-goal lead, 2-1, just 32 seconds later as Lauren Rudolph bagged her third tally of the fall off of an assist by Kalou.
- The Lynx doubled their lead to 3-1 in the 49th minute. Kylie Chagnon buried her second goal of the season after a pass from Haile Carrillo-Hayes sprung her on a breakaway.
- Lesley tacked on its fourth goal of the game in the 70th minute, widening the gap to 4-1. Chagnon notched her second tally of the contest and third of the season and Alex Carruth provided the assist.
- The Lynx capped off the scoring in the 74th minute to stretch their advantage to 5-1. Kalou scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season while Ariana Bunch and Chase Livesey each picked up assists on the strike.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Netminder Jasmine Arzu (Bronx, N.Y) recorded seven saves in her 12th start of the campaign.
- Eastern Nazarene fired four shots on the day while Lesley manufactured 23 attempts.
- The Lynx concluded the match with an 8-0 advantage in corner kicks.
