Women’s Soccer Heads to Becker Saturday for NECC Tournament First Round Matchup
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team has captured a spot in the New England Collegiate Conference Tournament for the second-straight season. The No. 5 seed Lions will travel to fourth-seeded Becker Saturday in the NECC Tournament first round.

HOW THEY GOT HERE:
Eastern Nazarene finished the regular season with a 3-11-1 overall record to go with a 2-5 league mark to claim the No. 5 seed in the New England Collegiate Conference Tournament. Becker earned the No. 4 seed with an 11-7-2 record on the year and a 5-2-0 mark in conference play.
POSTSEASON HISTORY:
Eastern Nazarene is making its second-straight trip to the NECC Tournament and seventh all-time postseason appearance. The Lions fell at Southern Vermont in the NECC Tournament quarterfinals last fall.
ENC vs. BECKER – ALL-TIME SERIES:
Eastern Nazarene and Becker have met on the pitch eight times with the Lions owning a 6-1-1 record against the Hawks. Earlier this fall, Becker earned a 3-0 win for its first-ever victory over ENC. The Lions have outscored the Hawks 23-12 in the eight previous matchups.
BALANCED OFFENSE:
The Lions have had nine different players record a point this season while six different players have netted a goal. Diamond Best (Danvers, Mass.) paces the squad with five goals while Sam Bernardi (Longmeadow, Mass.) and Victoria Hern (Salem, N.H.) have each notched three goals. Sarah Moschini (Upton, Mass.) leads the team with three assists on the year.
