FRANKLIN, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team played to a 1-1 tie at Dean Saturday afternoon.
The Lions progress to 4-6-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the New England Collegiate Conference with the result. The Bulldogs move to 3-6-1 on the year and 1-1-1 in league play.
The home team claimed a 1-0 lead in the 31st minute as Miranda Seacord netted her second goal of the year.
Dean carried its 1-0 edge into the halftime intermission despite the visitors owning an 8-4 advantage in shots through 45 minutes of action.
Eastern Nazarene tallied the game-tying goal in the 83rd minute. Sam Bernardi (Longmeadow, Mass.) buried her team-leading 11th marker of the fall to knot the contest at 1-1.
The Lions outshot the Bulldogs 23-5 in regulation and fired nine shots in the overtime periods while limiting the hosts to just one attempt.
Sarah Moschini (Upton, Mass.) recorded three saves on the day for the visitors.
