FRANKLIN, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team poured in a pair of goals to capture a 2-0 victory at Dean Wednesday afternoon.
The Lions improve to 4-3-0 on the season with the win while the Bulldogs drop to 0-6-0 overall.
The visitors nabbed a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute as Kelly Couite (West Bridgewater, Mass.) netted her league-leading ninth goal of the season off of an assist by Libby Nyquist (Barre, Vt.).
Eastern Nazarene registered 16 shots in the opening frame while limited the home team to just one shot.
The Lions tacked on their second score of the game in the waning seconds of regulation. Annelise Sherrill (Elk Grove, Calif.) buried a corner kick service off the foot of Couite to notch her first marker of the year.
Eastern Nazarene concluded the contest with 31 shots while Dean attempted seven in the match.
Senior Kyera Bryant (New Haven, Conn.) finished with three saves in net to earn her third shutout of the fall.
