Kristen Farley, Katherine Lawrence Earn All-CCC Women’s Soccer Honors
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Junior Katherine Lawrence (Marlborough, Conn.) and senior Kristen Farley (Westminster, Mass.) of the Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team picked up All-Commonwealth Coast Conference accolades, as announced by the league office Friday.
Lawrence was selected to the All-Commonwealth Coast Conference second team while Farley was tabbed to the third team.
This marks Lawrence's third career All-CCC honor after receiving honorable mention in each of the past two seasons while Farley collected her first career nod.
Lawrence paced Eastern Nazarene with 19 points on the season, netting eight goals and dishing out three assists. She started all 14 matches in which she saw action this fall.
Farley started all 16 contests between the posts and posted a 1.68 goals-against average in the regular season. She ranked second in the conference with 131 saves while also recording four clean sheets.
Farley was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week twice this fall.
Eastern Nazarene owns a 5-8-3 overall record and posted a 2-5-2 mark in the Commonwealth Coast Conference in head coach Mackenzie Arment's first season.
The Lions earned their fifth-straight berth to the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament this fall, grabbing the No. 8 seed. Eastern Nazarene will take on top-seeded Roger Williams October 31 in the quarterfinals.
