Women’s Basketball Drops 71-52 Decision to MIT
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball team endured a 71-52 loss to MIT Tuesday evening at the Lahue Athletic Center, halting the Lions' four-game winning-streak.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- MIT established a 22-8 lead after the first quarter.
- The Engineers extended their advantage to 24-19 at the halftime break after outscoring the Lions 24-19 in the second frame.
- MIT poured in 18 points in the third while Eastern Nazarene tallied 10 points in the quarter as the visitors carried a 64-37 lead into the final period.
- The Lions outscored the Engineers 15-7 in the fourth quarter but guests emerged with a 71-52 victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Molly Smith (Hudson, N.H.) finished with 10 points and seven rebounds off the bench.
- Kayla Taylor (Lompoc, Calif.) posted 10 points in the contest.
- Eva Graf (Mather, Calif.) hauled in 13 boards to go with seven points.
- Alexandria Paquet (Santa Maria, Calif.) netted eight points and dished out five assists.
- Sabanna Berrios (Providence, R.I.) chipped in with seven points and six rebounds.
- Eastern Nazarene concluded the contest with a field-goal percentage of 31.7% and connected on just 4-of-25 from beyond the arc.
- MIT shot 43.3% from the floor and 34.5% from three-point range on the night.
- Christina Antonakakis poured in a game-high 17 points to lead the Engineers while Angie Choi netted 14 points to go with five assists. Kamsi Nwogu registered a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
