Women’s Basketball’s Jordan Grays Elected CCC SAAC President
QUINCY, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene College junior Jordan Grays (Elk Grove, Calif.) was recently named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee President at the conference-wide SAAC meeting hosted by Wentworth Institute of Technology.
In her role as CCC SAAC President, Grays will represent the league's 10 institutions with the NCAA National SAAC as well as oversee conference-wide SAAC meetings and agendas.
Grays has been a three-year member of the Lions' women's basketball program and has served as a team captain for the past two seasons.
"I am so proud of Jordan. She really exemplifies leadership in everything she does. She strives to make everyone around her and everything she's involved in better," said head women's basketball coach Sacha Santimano.
She has also been involved in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Eastern Nazarene College since her freshman year and served as the ENC SAAC President as a junior.
The purpose of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to strengthen the communication between the campus SAAC's and the National Committees to better represent the views of all student-athletes. It is to serve in an advisory capacity to the conference athletics directors, administrators and staff, regarding policies, procedures and activities that affect the conferences intercollegiate athletic teams both at the conference and national level.
Grays is majoring in Sports Management at Eastern Nazarene College.
