Women’s Basketball Welcomes Team IMPACT Partner Greer to Program
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene women's basketball officially added Team IMPACT partner Greer Ramsay to the program in a special pre-game draft ceremony at the Lahue Physical Education Center Saturday.
In front of a pack crowd of family, future teammates, coaches and fans, Greer officially joined the Lions.
"We are extremely excited to have Greer Ramsay as part of our family and program," said head coach Sacha Santimano. "She shows great strength and provides inspiration and motivation. Greer will be a huge asset to our program."
Greer, a five-year old, has spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), a genetic disease that attacks the motor neurons in the spinal cord.
Greer donned her new uniform and sat on the Lions' bench to cheer on her teammates as Eastern Nazarene battled Curry on the hardwood Saturday afternoon.
