Bio

Alexa D'Onofrio joined the Eastern Nazarene softball coaching staff in the fall of 2014.

D’Onofrio is a 2014 graduate of Minnesota State University-Moorhead where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish while minoring in Special Education. She represented the Dragons on the diamond for four seasons as a pitcher at the NCAA Division II level.

She was twice named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Academic Team. D’Onofrio was also involved in the Dragon Leadership Academy and the Executive Entrepreneurial Forum for on-campus leaders while at Minnesota State-Moorhead.

A native of Medford, New York, she currently coaches the under-12 Long Island Chargers fast pitch tournament team.

D’Onofrio has also worked as a private pitching instructor at the New York Nationals Academy and the All-Pro Sports Academy in New York. She has gained coaching experience while working at the New York Nationals Summer Camp in Riverhead, New York and at the Minnesota State University-Moorhead Softball Winter Skills Camp.
