Aurora Adams Named NECC Softball Player of the Week
MANSFIELD, Mass.- Senior Aurora Adams (Fullerton, Calif.) of the Eastern Nazarene College softball team has been tabbed the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week, announced the league office Monday.
Adams racked up 14 base hits, 10 RBIs, nine runs scored, and one stolen base as the Lions posted a 4-2 record on the week. Among her 10 base knocks were five doubles and a pair of homers.
This spring, Adams is batting .447 with a slugging percentage of .718 and an on-base percentage of .478. She has notched 38 hits, 21 runs scored, 20 RBIs, and three stolen bases.
Eastern Nazarene sports a 12-14 overall record with a 3-1 mark in conference action. The Lions return to the diamond April 19 with a non-league doubleheader against St. Joseph (Conn.).
