Dominique Santos Collects Third CCC Softball Rookie of the Week Accolade

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Dominique Santos (Lancaster, Calif.) of the Eastern Nazarene College softball team picked up her third Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week honor of the season, announced the league office Monday.

Santos compiled a pair of extra-base hits during the Lions' run in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament.

She roped a double and scored Eastern Nazarene's lone run in a 2-1 loss to Western New England.

Santos belted her fourth home run of the year, a two-run shot in the fifth inning, in the Lions' 4-1 victory over Nichols.

Santos finished her first collegiate season with 51 hits, 40 runs scored, 23 RBIs, and a .386 batting average.

Eastern Nazarene posted a 28-12 record on the year and came to within a game of reaching the CCC Tournament Finals.
