Softball Bolsters Class of 2018 with Addition of Katherine Paul
QUINCY, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene softball head coach Stephanie Gillett has announced the addition of Katherine Paul to the program's incoming class.
Paul is a product of Milford, New Hampshire where she recently graduated from Milford High School.
A first baseman, she competed for four years on the diamond for the Spartans and served as captain during her senior season as well as playing for the Granite State Gamers.
Paul received the State Farm Character Award in 2013, an award bestowed upon one member of each of Milford High School's athletic teams.
"I am very excited to be attending Eastern Nazarene in the fall. I loved the school the first time I toured the campus. I am even more excited to be playing softball at ENC," said Paul. "The fact that I have the ability to play softball at the college level heightens my anticipation to attend college. I cannot wait to be a part of a team of Christian women who love the sport. Being a part of the team gives me several friendships which will make the transition to college easier."
"Katherine is a great young lady and we are excited to have her join the program. Her commitment, hard work and dedication are top-notch and her ability to corral errant throws at first base is a great security to have. Her defensive strength, combined with her versatility on the left side of the plate will help our team add new strengths to the lineup," commented Gillett.
Paul joins Colorado natives Breana Corell and Paulina Gonzales as the Lions' Class of 2018.
