Softball Adds Paulina Gonzales to Incoming Group
QUINCY, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene softball head coach Stephanie Gillett has announced the addition of Paulina Gonzales to the program's incoming class.
Gonzales is a native a Highlands Ranch, Colorado where she attends Thunder Ridge High School.
A second baseman and outfielder, Gonzales has played two seasons of varsity softball for the Grizzlies. She is a two-time CHSAA academic honorable mention student-athlete.
Gonzales also plays for the Colorado Psyclones during the club season.
"I'm very excited and blessed to be attending Eastern Nazarene College in the fall. Playing college softball has been one of my dreams since I was younger. I am thrilled to come to Quincy and have the opportunity to represent the Lions," said Gonzales.
"From the very start, Paulina fit right in with the program. She is a strong athlete and student, who is driven to contribute and work hard. Her quickness and speed will prove beneficial for the team in the outfield or middle infield, as well as on the base paths. I am excited to see how she progresses at the collegiate level and within our program," commented Gillett.
Gonzales joins fellow Colorado native Breana Corell as the Lions' class of 2018.
