Men’s Cross Country Finishes 15th at Suffolk Invitational

BOSTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's cross country team placed 15th at the Suffolk Invitational at Franklin Park Friday afternoon.

The Lions outscored Lasell, Lesley, Rivier, and Pine Manor at the meet.

Robert Gorman (Ellington, Conn.) paced Eastern Nazarene with a time of 30:56.

Kevin Rodriguez (Dorchester, Mass.) crossed the finish line in 32:51 while Joseph Merrigan (Quincy, Mass.) turned in a time of 39:25.

Seth Folk (Hollywood, Md.) and Patrick Funk (Bay Shore, N.Y.) both traversed the course in 40:03.

Tiffin claimed the team crown and garnered the individual champion as Stephen Korir finished in 26:21.

Looking ahead, Eastern Nazarene finishes the fall at the NECC Championships October 27 at Chicopee Memorial State Park in Chicopee, Massachusetts.
