Men’s Cross Country Finishes 15th at Gordon Pop Crowell Invitational

WENHAM, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's cross country team placed 15th at the Gordon Pop Crowell Invitational Saturday.

The Lions bested Pine Manor and Rivier in the team standings.

Robert Gorman (Ellington, Conn.) was Eastern Nazarene's top runner at the meet with a time of 31:20.7.

Kevin Rodrigues (Dorchester, Mass.) posted a time of 37:07.6 while Patrick Funk (Bay Shore, N.Y.), Joseph Merrigan (Quincy, Mass.), and Seth Folk (Hollywood, Md.) also represented the Lions.

The University of New England claimed the team title after garnering the top two finishers as Jacob Hickey topped the field with a 25:36.2.

Up next, Eastern Nazarene will run at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy Invitational September 28.
