Men’s Cross Country Competes at UMass Dartmouth Invitational
NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's cross country team placed 40th at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational Saturday afternoon.
The Lions finished just ahead of Western Connecticut State in the team standings.
Robert Gorman (Ellington, Conn.) clocked in with a mark 31:38.21 to lead Eastern Nazarene.
Kevin Rop (Silver Spring, Md.) posted a time of 38:43.26.
Joseph Merrigan (Quincy, Mass.) and Seth Folk (Hollywood, Md.) crossed the finish line less than a second apart followed closely by Patrick Funk (Bay Shore, N.Y.).
Plymouth State's Sam Brunnette bested the field with a time of 24:32.02 while Southern New Hampshire claimed the team crown.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene will compete at the Gordon Pop Crowell Invitational September 22.
