Men’s Cross Country Races at UMass-Dartmouth Invitational Saturday
NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's cross country team captured 37th place at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational Saturday to kick off the 2017 season.
The Lions edged Suffolk, Rivier, and Pine Manor in the team standings to capture 37th place.
Kevin Rop (Silver Springs, Md.) paced the team with a time of 33:49.2 on the 8K course.
Kyandre Martinez (Brockton, Mass.) crossed the finish line in 34:48.2 while Cody Brooks (Mifflinburg, Pa.) finished in 34:57.0.
Stephen Ingersoll (Newark, N.J.), Justice Martins (Raynham, Mass.), and Bryan Vassar (Worcester, Mass.) also competed for the Lions.
Babson's Matthew Dynan claimed the individual title with a time of 25:22.7. UMass-Lowell earned the team crown with five runners in the top 25.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene will compete at the Gordon Pop Crowell Invitational September 23.
