Men’s Cross Country Competes at Emmanuel College Invitational Friday
BOSTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's cross country team earned 16th place at the 9th Annual Emmanuel College Saints Invitational Friday afternoon at Franklin Park.
Greg Whitney (Henniker, N.H.) paced the Lions with a time of 30:42 in the 7,950 meter race.
Providence Mbabazi (Portland, Maine) crossed the finish line in 31:58 and Hunter Hill (North Wales, Pa.) posted a mark of 33:50.
Arthur Isibo (Weymouth, Mass.) clocked in with a time of 35:09 and Yusuf Mansaray (Boston, Mass.) was close behind, finishing in 35:50 while Dan Cantrell (Strasburg, Va.) turned in a time of 36:10.
Andrew Shaw (Weymouth, Mass.) and Josh Eisenberg (Millville, N.J.) also competed for Eastern Nazarene in the 207-runner race.
Babson's Mark Gulesian captured the individual crown with a time of 27:00 while also leading the Beavers to the overall team title.
Up next, the Lions will travel north to run at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship meet held at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine November 1.
