Men’s Cross Country Claims 10th at Pop Crowell Invitational
WENHAM, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's cross country team earned a 10th-place team finish at the 43rd annual Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College Saturday.
The Lions edged out New Hampshire Technical Institute, Rivier and Suffolk in the 13-team field.
Providence Mbabazi (Portland, Maine) posted Eastern Nazarene's fastest time in the five-mile race with a mark of 32:09 to claim 55th place.
Gregory Whitney (Henniker, N.H.) crossed the finish line in 33:26 while Hunter Hill (North Wales, Pa.) clocked in at 34:05.
Arthur Isibo (Weymouth, Mass.) finished with a time of 35:40 and Yusuf Mansaray (Boston, Mass.) posted a mark of 37:12.
Andrew Shaw (Weymouth, Mass.), Dan Cantrell (Strasburg, Va.), Josh Eisenberg (Millville, N.J.), Christopher Sibila (Somers, Conn.) and Duamarius Benford (Boston, Mass.) also competed for the Lions.
Up next, the Lions will race at the Westfield State Invitational October 11.
