Men’s Cross Country Races at 7th Annual Emmanuel Saints Invitational
BOSTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene men's cross country team claimed 13th place at the seventh annual Emmanuel College Saints Invitational Friday at Franklin Park.
The Lions were one of 16 teams competing in the 8K event.
Gregory Whitney (Henniker, N.H.) paced Eastern Nazarene with a mark of 31:26 to garner 90th place.
Pat Yee (Lynnfield, Mass.) finished the race in 35:27 while Sidney Karr (Bronx, N.Y.) posted a time of 39:00.
Dan Cantrell (Strasburg, Va.) and Isaiah King (El Paso, Texas) crossed the finish line simultaneously, turning in a mark of 39:18.
Ian MacLean captured the individual crown with a time of 26:56 as he helped Babson earn the team title.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene will compete at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships November 2. The league meet will be hosted by the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.
