Men’s Cross Country Participates in 18th James Earley Invitational Saturday
WESTFIELD, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene men's cross country team garnered a 35th place finish at the 18th James Earley Invitational Saturday afternoon at Stanley Park, hosted by Westfield State.
The Lions were led by Gregory Whitney (Henniker, N.H.) with a time of 32:14.45 in the 8K race.
Pat Yee (Lynnfield, Mass.) clocked in with a mark of 38:32.30 and Sidney Karr (Bronx, N.Y.) was close behind with a time of 38:48.49. Dan Cantrell (Strasburg, Va.) crossed the finish line in 38:50.78.
Westfield State claimed the team crown after registering seven top-50 finishes on the day.
Mark Gulesian of Babson turned in the top time to capture the individual title, posting a mark of 25:59.47.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene will compete at the 7th Annual Saints Invitational held at Franklin Park and hosted by Emmanuel College October 18.
