Men’s Cross Country Competes at Elms Blazer Invitational
CHICOPEE, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene men's cross country team raced at the Elms College Blazer Invitational Saturday held at Chicopee Memorial State Park.
The Lions were led by Gregory Whitney (Henniker, N.H.) with a mark of 33:41, good for 57th place.
Hunter Hill (North Wales, Pa.) clocked in with a time of 35:55 to claim 70th place while Jonathan Lee (Glenwood, Md.) grabbed 77th place with a time of 39:10.
A total of 91 runners from 18 teams participated in the race.
The University of New England claimed the team title with five runners finishing in the top-15. Westfield State's Tim Shea posted the fastest time on the day, crossing the finish line in 27:20.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene will compete in the Westfield State Invitational October 12.
