Men’s Cross Country Grabs Sixth at Travis Fuller Invitational

The Lions accumulated 166 points to capture sixth in the eight-team event. Eastern Nazarene came in ahead of Newbury and Mount Ida.
Rookie Gregory Whitney (Henniker, N.H.) crossed the finish line first for the Lions, clocking in a 31:31 to claim 18th overall.
Freshman Hunter Hill (North Wales, Pa.) placed 32nd with a time of 34:36 in his first collegiate race. Jonathan Lee (Glenwood, Md.) and Daniel Cantrell (Strasburg, Va.) finished back-to-back with times of 39:58 and 40:08, respectively.
Babson captured the team title and garnered the individual winner as Mark Gulesian was the top runner with a mark of 26:54.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene will compete at the Gordon Pop Crowell Invitational September 21.
