Cross Country Squads Compete at UMass-Dartmouth Invitational

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College cross country teams participated in the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational Saturday afternoon.
The event was the second meet of the season for the Lions after the two squads ran in the Lt. Travis J. Fuller Invitational September 8 hosted by the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
Ami Curtis (East Montpelier, Vt.) was the top finisher for the women's team in the 5-kilometer race, clocking in with a time of 20:24.96.
On the men's side, Charles Brecht (Pennsville, N.J.) paced Eastern Nazarene with a mark of 33:03.94 in the 8-kilometer event.
Runners representing Division I, II and III institutions participated in Saturday's races.
The Lions return to action September 22 at the Blazer Invitational, hosted by Elms College.
