Men’s Volleyball Drops Midweek Match at Emmanuel, 3-1
BOSTON, Mass. - The Eastern Nazarene College men's volleyball team absorbed a 3-1 loss at Emmanuel Wednesday evening.
THE BASICS:

Records: Lions (6-4) | Saints (5-5)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene captured the first frame 25-22 to snag a 1-0 edge.
- Emmanuel responded with a 25-21 victory in the second set to level the match at 1-1.
- The Saints prevailed 25-21 in the third to seize a 2-1 advantage.
- The home side eked out a narrow 30-28 decision in the fourth frame to lock up its second win in a row.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Alejandro Garcia Fernandez (San Juan, P.R.) posted a team-best 20 kills to go with six digs and two aces.
- Delfy Soler (Lawrence, Mass.) racked up a season-high 14 kills while adding six digs and three service aces.
- Jacob Zarges (Quincy, Mass.) chipped in with five kills and a team-high 11 digs.
- Aaron Huang (Quincy, Mass.) finished with 40 assists and Ian Pacheco (San Pedro Sula, Honduras) recorded 11 digs.
- Michael Shelley paced the Saints with a match-best 27 kills while Trey Guest notched a double-double with 12 digs and 10 kills.
