Men’s Volleyball Earns 3-1 Win Over Regis

QUINCY, Mass. - The Eastern Nazarene College men's volleyball team collected a 3-1 victory over Regis Tuesday evening in front of a raucous crowd at the Lahue Athletic Center.
THE BASICS:
Score: Eastern Nazarene 3, Regis 1
Records: Lions (6-1) | Pride (2-3)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene captured the first set 25-18 to claim a 1-0 lead.
- The Lions edged the Pride 25-23 in the second frame to double their advantage to 2-0.
- Regis rolled to a 25-14 win in the third to cut the deficit to 2-1.
- The home team responded with a 25-14 decision in the fourth set to wrap up its third-consecutive victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Delfy Soler (Lawrence, Mass.) and Jacob Zarges (Quincy, Mass.) each tallied a match-high 12 kills.
- Alejandro Garcia Fernandez (San Juan, P.R.) finished with 11 kills, nine digs, and four service aces.
- Aaron Huang (Quincy, Mass.) posted 27 assists to move past the 1,000 career assist mark.
- Andrew Matzouranis and Joseph Perez both recorded nine kills for the Pride while Eddie Djatcha added eight kills.
