Men’s Volleyball Locks Up 3-2 Victory at SUNY Potsdam Saturday
POTSDAM, N.Y.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's volleyball team wrapped up its weekend trip to the Empire State with a hard-fought 3-2 win at SUNY Potsdam to improve to 2-0 in New England Collegiate Conference competition.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The visitors claimed the opening set 25-15 to construct a 1-0 lead.
- The home side responded with a 25-20 decision in the second frame to even the match at 1-1.
- SUNY Potsdam captured the third 25-15 to snag a 2-1 edge.
- Eastern Nazarene battled back to secure a 25-22 win in the fourth set.
- The Lions topped the Bears 15-9 in the fifth frame to chalk up their second straight league victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Alejandro Garcia Fernandez (San Juan, P.R.) posted a match-high 23 kills to go with 10 digs and two aces.
- Delfy Soler (Lawrence, Mass.) notched 16 kills with six digs.
- Jacob Zarges (Quincy, Mass.) finished with 12 kills while Ian Pacheco (San Pedro Sula, Honduras) added six kills.
- Christopher Gil (Lawrence, Mass.) dished out 29 assists and Aaron Huang (Quincy, Mass.) tallied 27 assists while contributing with 10 digs.
- Joe Zimmerman recorded 13 kills and 11 digs to lead the Bears while Duncan Tenhagen added 11 kills and 11 digs and Cooper Colesante chipped in with 44 assists, seven digs, and five kills.
