Men’s Volleyball Suffers 3-1 Setback at St. Joseph’s (L.I.)

PATCHOGUE, N.Y.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's volleyball team fell at St. Joseph's (L.I.) 3-1 in a hard-fought clash Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- St Joseph's rolled to a 25-14 win in the first set to snag a 1-0 lead in the match.
- Eastern Nazarene triumphed 28-26 in the second frame to level the contest at 1-1.
- The Golden Eagles reclaimed a one-set advantage, 2-1, with a 25-16 victory in the third set.
- The home side edged the visitors 27-25 to lock up its second consecutive win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Ian Pacheco (San Pedro Sula, Honduras) notched a career-high 14 kills and eight digs.
- Delfy Soler (Lawrence, Mass.) tallied 11 kills and seven digs.
- Nathan Jacques (Casselberry, Fla.) finished with 24 assists, 10 digs, and seven kills on the night.
- Christopher Gil (Lawrence, Mass.) recorded 15 assists while Fernando Paredes (Passaic, N.J.) registered 10 digs.
- Mark Williams paced St. Joseph's with 13 kills and Tyler Anderson added 11 kills while CJ Johnson posted 39 assists, 11 digs, and six kills.

Eastern Nazarene will battle No. 4 Vassar before taking on Ramapo February 11.
