Men’s Volleyball Drops 3-1 Decision to Lasell Tuesday
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's volleyball team suffered a 3-1 setback to Lasell Tuesday evening at the Lahue Physical Education Center.
The Lions progress to 3-3 on the season with the result while the Lasers improve to 3-2 overall.
Delfy Soler (Lawrence, Mass.) notched a team-high 14 kills on the night. Tim Eddings (Endicott, N.Y.) finished with seven kills and eight digs. Brandon Jenkins (Norton, Mass.) posted 23 assists, eight digs, and three service aces. Defensively, Quinn Smith (Galway, N.Y.) collected 12 digs while Riley Miller (Newington, Conn.) added 10 digs.
The home side erased a seven-point deficit to prevail 27-25 in the opening frame and establish a 1-0 edge.
The visitors bounced back with a 25-20 victory in the second set to knot the match at 1-1.
Lasell triumphed 25-18 in the third before securing the win with a 25-10 decision in the fourth frame.
Brenden Joyce and Scott Sterenberg both tallied 14 kills for the Lasers while Dillon DeSouza registered 11 kills.
