Men’s Volleyball Drops 3-0 Decision at Nationally-Ranked Endicott
BEVERLY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's volleyball team endured a 3-0 loss at nationally-ranked Endicott Thursday evening.
The Lions dip to 13-14 on the year and 7-6 in the New England Collegiate Conference with the setback. The Gulls, ranked No. 11 in the AVCA National Poll, improve to 22-6 overall and 12-1 in league play with the win.
Arthur Kossoski (Malden, Mass.) racked up a team-best eight kills and six digs on the night. Samuel Cueva (Swampscott, Mass.) finished with four kills while Brandon Jenkins (Norton, Mass.) dished out 16 assists. Defensively, Quinn Smith (Galway, N.Y.) collected five digs and Sunil Lepcha (Charlotte, N.C.) added four digs.
The home team captured the first set 25-13 to snag a 1-0 edge before doubling its advantage to 2-0 with a 25-17 decision in the second frame.
Endicott prevailed 25-19 in the third to seal its 22nd win of the season.
Donovan Dey paced the Gulls with 11 kills while Jeremy Doski registered 16 assists and Ryan Healy chipped in with seven digs.
Looking ahead, Eastern Nazarene wraps up the regular-season at home against Dean and MIT April 6 on Senior Day.
