Men’s Volleyball Secures 3-0 Win at Southern Vermont
BENNINGTON, Vt.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's volleyball team triumphed 3-0 at Southern Vermont Wednesday evening.
The Lions climb to 13-13 on the season and 7-5 in the New England Collegiate Conference with the victory. The Mountaineers slip to 4-13 overall and 1-9 in conference competition with the setback.
Arthur Kossoski (Malden, Mass.) notched a team-high 11 kills, eight digs, and four service aces. Tim Eddings (Endicott, N.Y.) finished with 10 kills on the night while Samuel Cueva (Swampscott, Mass.) added eight. Brandon Jenkins (Norton, Mass.) collected 35 assists and Brock Pease (Marshfield, Mass.) chipped in with nine digs and six kills.
The visitors captured the opening frame 25-19 to earn a 1-0 lead in the match.
Eastern Nazarene cruised to a 25-12 win in the second set to widen the margin to 2-0.
The Lions clinched their fifth-straight victory over Southern Vermont with a 25-19 decision in the third.
Adrian Dickerson and Isaiah Bickels each recorded five kills for the home team.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene heads to nationally-ranked Endicott April 4.
