BOSTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 setback at Wentworth Wednesday evening in non-conference action.
The Lions fall to 8-12 on the season with the loss while the Leopards improve to 11-6 overall.
James Garofalo (Commack, N.Y.) posted a team-best six kills on the night. James Hoopes (Lenexa, Kan.) finished with three kills and a pair of blocks. Brandon Jenkins (Norton, Mass.) dished out 10 assists and collected five digs.
The home side manufactured a 1-0 lead after claiming the opening set 25-13.
Wentworth cruised to a 25-7 win in the second frame to double its advantage to 2-0.
The Leopards clinched their third-straight victory with a 25-18 decision in the third.
Ryan Love and Ian Carlson paced Wentworth with five kills while Scott Skarzynski added four kills.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene resumes NECC competition March 16 with a road tilt at Newbury.
