QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's volleyball team swept a pair of non-conference matches against Pine Manor Wednesday evening at the Lahue Physical Education Center.
The Lions climb to 5-5 on the season with the two victories while the Gators slide to 0-5 overall with the results.
Tim Eddings (Endicott, N.Y.) racked up a team-best 14 kills on the night to go with four aces. Arthur Kossoski (Malden, Mass.) posted 13 kills and 10 digs in the two matches. Samuel Cueva (Swampscott, Mass.) finished with 12 kills and five service aces. James Garofalo (Commack, N.Y.) notched a team-high 11 digs and added seven kills. James Hoopes (Lenexa, Kan.) dealt seven service aces and chipped in with five kills. Quinn Smith (Galway, N.Y.) dished out 54 assists on the night and contributed with three aces.
In the opening match, Eastern Nazarene blanked Pine Manor 3-0.
The home side cruised to a 25-7 win in the first set to capture a 1-0 advantage.
Eastern Nazarene pushed its lead to 2-0 in the match with a 25-17 decision in the second frame.
The Lions rolled to a 25-13 victory in the third to seal the sweep.

The hosts edged the visitors 25-21 in the first frame to establish a 1-0 edge.
The Lions prevailed 25-15 in the second game to extend their advantage to 2-0.
