AUBURNDALE, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at Lasell Tuesday evening in inter-conference play.
The Lions move to 8-8 on the year with the setback while the Lasers improve to 3-14 overall.
Kenny Sorensen (Quincy, Mass.) posted a team-high 11 kills and 11 digs in the match. Samuel Cueva (Swampscott, Mass.) finished with three kills and three blocks while Tim Eddings (Endicott, N.Y.) added three kills. Matthew Tyree (Lansdale, Pa.) notched 20 assists and three digs.
The home team snared a 1-0 edge with a 25-23 win in the opening set.
Lasell rolled to a 25-11 victory in the second frame to extend its lead to 2-0.
The Lasers triumphed 25-15 in the third to snap a three-match skid.
Looking ahead, Eastern Nazarene returns to the Lahue Physical Education Center March 15 to battle Dean in a New England Collegiate Conference clash.
