Men’s Track & Field Competes at Carla Coffey Classic
NORTHAMPTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's track and field team competed in the Carla Coffey Classic at Smith College Saturday.
Travelis Mosley (Pompano Beach, Fla) claimed second-place in the 200-meter dash while also grabbing third-place in the 100-meter dash, finishing at 11.51 seconds.
Kevin Rodrigues (Dorchester, Mass.) finished with a time of 2:17.48 in the 800-meter run to grab fifth-place, while also placing fifth in the 1,500-meter run. Robert Gorman (Ellington, Conn.) and Joseph Merrigan (Quincy, Mass.) also raced in the 1,500-meter run.
Shawn Wright (Baltimore, Md.) ran in both the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter run while participating in the high jump.
Matthew Mansaray (Acushnet, Mass.) represented the Lions in the 400-meter run and 1,500-meter run while Kevin Rop (Silver Spring, Md.) competed in the 1,500-meter run.
Israel Tetuan-Chavez (Selma, Calif.) participated in the shot put and discus throw for Eastern Nazarene.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene will compete at the Southern New Hampshire University Penmen Relays April 13.
