Men’s Track & Field Competes at MIT Sean Collier Invitational
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's track and field team participated in the Sean Collier Invitational hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Saturday.
Linton Moore (Sanford, Fla.) earned a first-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.73 meters.
Paul Chong (Reading, Mass.) claimed second in the long jump with a leap of 6.60 meters and captured third in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.06 seconds.
Robbion Harris (Steilacoom, Wash.) placed 10th in the long jump with a mark of 5.77 meters while also competing in the high jump and 200 meter dash.
Kevin Rop (Silver Springs, Md.) grabbed 11th in the 400 meters with a time of 53.80 and earned top-20 finishes in the 100 and 200 meter dashes.
Stephen Ingersoll (Newark, N.J.) placed fourth in the 10,000 meters with a time of 43:20.40 and also ran the 800 meter event.
Tajere Folk (Lancaster, Pa.), Kevin Rodrigues (Dorchester, Mass.), and Quinn Smith (Galway, N.Y.) also represented the Lions at the meet.
Up next, the Lions will compete at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships April 28 hosted by Roger Williams.
