Men’s Track & Field Secures Sixth-Place Finish at Mount Holyoke Spring Fling
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's track and field team logged a sixth-place finish at the Mount Holyoke Spring Fling Invitational Saturday.
The Lions place ahead of Newbury, Bard, Lyndon State, Sage, and Hampshire College.
Paul Chong (Reading, Mass.) captured a pair of first-place finishes at the meet, claiming the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.17 seconds and winning the long jump with a leap of 6.50 meters.
Linton Moore (Sanford, Fla.) earned second in the long jump with a distance of 6.33 meters.
Robbion Harris (Steilacoom, Wash.) collected three top-15 finishes as he placed fifth in the high jump, 10th in the 200 meter dash, and 13th in the 100 meter dash.
Tajere Folk (Lancaster, Pa.), Stephen Ingersoll (Newark, N.J.), Kevin Rop (Silver Springs, Md.), Quinn Smith (Galway, N.Y.), and Bryan Vassar (Worcester, Mass.) also represented Eastern Nazarene at the meet.
Up next, the Lions will compete at the Sean Collier Invitational hosted by MIT April 21.
