Men’s Track & Field Competes at Trinity College Invitational Saturday
HARTFORD, Conn.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's track and field team participated in the Trinity College Invitational Saturday.
In their third meet of the season, the Lions were represented by seven student-athletes.
Paul Chong (Reading, Mass.) captured third in the long jump with a distance of 6.09 meters and also earned sixth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.52.
Darvence Chery (Brockton, Mass.) posted a pair of personal-bests as he turned in a mark of 24.82 seconds in the 200-meter dash and a time of 54.44 in the 400-meter run.
Rob Dukes (Spencer, Mass.) competed in the 100-meter dash and the long jump for Eastern Nazarene. Kevin Rop (Silver Spring, Md.) and Brandon Russ (Warren, Pa.) both ran in the 800-meters while Stephen Ingersoll (Newark, N.J.) raced in the 1,500 meters. Nathan Vazquez (Weymouth, Mass.) was the Lions' lone shot-putter at the meet.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene will head to Roger Williams for the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships April 29.
