Men’s Tennis Rolls Past Salve Regina 9-0
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's tennis team opened conference play with a 9-0 victory over Salve Regina Friday afternoon.
The Lions improve to 9-2 on the year and 1-0 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference with the outcome. The Seahawks slide to 3-5 overall and 0-3 in league competition.
The home team claimed all three doubles matches before securing all six singles points.
Alex Partyka (Moscow, Russia) and Henry Siercke (Hamburg, Germany) posted an 8-0 win at the top doubles spot.
Santiago Camero (Valencia, Venezuela) and Kyle Pierson (Redding, Calif.) grabbed an 8-2 victory at the second doubles position.
Shaw Campbell (Redding, Calif.) and Davis Steelman (Darlington, Md.) prevailed 8-0 at the third doubles slot.
Partyka, Siercke, Camero, Pierson, Steelman, and Kaden Swarr (Brighton, Colo.) all picked up wins in singles play.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene heads to Western New England April 8.
