The Lions improve to 11-7 on the year and advance to the CCC Semifinals to face No. 2 Nichols May 1. The Leopards wrap up the season with a 6-8 overall record.
Eastern Nazarene swept the three doubles matches before sealing the victory with a pair of singles wins.
Austin Steelman (Darlington, Md.) and Nick Thompson (York, Pa.) rolled to an 8-1 victory at the top doubles spot. Sam McKay-Corkum (Rehoboth, Mass.) and Tim Luz (Cumberland, R.I.) prevailed 8-1 at the No. 2 doubles position. Richard Crooks (Collegeville, Pa.) and Gregory Parenteau (Wolcott, Conn.) outlasted Wentworth's Josh Dowd and Gaurav Tilva 9-7 at the third slot.
Steelman, the CCC Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year and an All-CCC first team selection, breezed by James Drum 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 1 position to give the home team a 4-0 lead.
Kevin Paterno (Buenos Aires, Argentina) secured the win with a 6-0, 6-1 decision over Sean Murray at the No. 4 spot.
McKay-Corkum and Luz each claimed the first set at the second and third positions, respectively, before the match was called.
