DUDLEY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's lacrosse team dropped a 27-3 decision at Nichols Saturday afternoon.
The Lions progress to 0-8 on the season with the outcome while the Bison improve to 5-6 overall.
Devano Clarke (Lucea, Jamaica), Andrew James (Hyannis, Mass.), and Jimmy Keuther (Marshfield, Mass.) all netted one goal. Keuther paced the squad with four ground balls while Xavier Depina (Whitman, Mass.) and Kellen Lee (Henderson, Nev.) each finished with three ground balls.
The home side tallied seven goals in the first quarter and six in the second frame to hold a 13-0 advantage at the half.
Nichols generated 10 goals in the third period and finished with a 4-3 edge in fourth-quarter scoring.
Ryan Almeida (Pompton Lakes, N.J.) registered 10 saves in his eighth start between the pipes and Walter Stockwell (Hyde Park, Mass.) recorded six saves in his fourth appearance.
