Men’s Golf Outdueled at Albertus Magnus
NEW HAVEN, Conn.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's golf team absorbed its second head-to-head loss of the year Friday, falling to Albertus Magnus 371-448 at Alling Memorial Golf Club.
The Lions drop to 0-2 on the season while the Falcons improve to 2-0 overall.
Connor Simpson (Haverhill, Mass.) fired a team-best 94 on the day. Will Francis (Midlothian, Va.) posted a personal-best 108.
Rob Dukes (Spencer, Mass.) carded a season-best 109 while Caleb Lynch (Amelia, Va.) also represented Eastern Nazarene in his first action of the fall.
Albertus Magnus' Aaron Macchia paced all players with a mark of 80 while Zach Schatz scored an 88.
Looking ahead, the Lions will wrap up the fall season October 12 against Wentworth in a midweek matchup at Brookline Golf Course at Putterham.
