Men’s Golf Drops Dual Match to Albertus Magnus
NEW HAVEN, Conn.- In the first dual match in program history, the Eastern Nazarene College golf team fell to Albertus Magnus at Alling Memorial Golf Club Thursday.
The Lions combined for 453 strokes while the Falcons picked up the victory with 356 total strokes.
Connor Simpson (Haverhill, Mass.) led Eastern Nazarene with a 92 on the day. Ragan Cole (Alamogordo, N.M.) carded a score of 112 and Chris French (Middletown, N.J.) posted a mark of 119.
Bobby Barber (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) and Ryan Spina (Selden, N.Y.) also competed for the Lions.
Albertus Magnus' Aaron Macchia turned in the match's lowest mark with a three-over-par 75 while Tyler Donnan shot a 91.
Looking ahead, the Lions return to the links September 30 at the Westfield State Invitational at Tekoa Country Club.
